When Della, a Southern baker with conservative values, is asked to bake a wedding cake for her late best friend’s daughter—who is marrying another woman—her comfortable world is turned upside down. What follows is a complicated, tender, and humorous reckoning between love and tradition, forcing each character to examine their beliefs and relationships.

    Seating is "open seating," Doors open 30 minutes before performance time.

    Online: Individual tickets will be available for purchase approximately 2 months before the show opens.

    At the door: Tickets will be available at the door for CASH ONLY if the show is not sold out. Check our social media for announcements about sold out shows.

    Pricing:

    • $20 for adult tickets

    • $15 for students and seniors

    Online purchases will include an additional fee.

  • Livonia Community Theatre performs our main season at Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church.

    9601 North Hubbard Street, Livonia, MI

    The main entrance is at the rear of the church from the doors off of the main parking lot. Follow the signs down the stairs to the Fellowship Hall. 

    Accessible parking is available on both Hubbard and West Chicago, close to the accessible entrance. The accessible entrance is at Door 1 positioned off of Hubbard St. Follow the signs to the elevator.

  • Concessions will be available for sale with CASH only during our intermission.
